    Hi,

I'm installing an oem cruise control kit in my mk4 1,6 16v. I'm on the last bit of wiring where I have to remove a cable from fuse no 5. I'm using the correct tool, but have spent all afternoon trying to remove the wire. The tool works fine on other connectors, just not on the fuse box. Is there a secondary lock on the fuse box itself that has to be removed, like on other switches?

yes theres secondary locks on these, look closely at all the bright pink tabs, you need to click it across before terminals will release
