my mk1 2.0 has destroyed my std gearbox. [:^(] the engine is pretty torquey and revs very nicely, so i guess the ole thing had to give up! with the new found power i seemed to be changing gear very quickly, so the question is.....do i fit a 16v mk2 box, anyone done this?? what else apart from the box do i need? would this box suit a tuned up 8v?? or i know some one with a mk1 diesel 5speed for sale, is this an option?? or any other idea?? 6speed with L.S.D.!! maybe... what dya reckon??
