The engine is a replica of a Golf mkIV kitcar.

So guys, ask what you want.

Very practical modification! So subtle

Engine sounded very good on the bench dyno as it screamed its way to 290 ps!

Is the engine an exact replica of the kit car 20v, or did you specify other specific alterations?

Hi! The engine is based around a tfsi s3 casting with a 92.8mm stroke and a 83.5mm bore.
Steel connecting rods and JE pistons.
The head is a small port 20v casting (as is the kitcar head) and it is completed with original vwm cams, timing gears, in en exhaust manifolds, and the head is ported by NG-motorsports in Germany.
The ITB, ecu's (engine ecu, throttle control ecu, lamba control ecu, can-display) are all from KMS managements.

I'm now in the process selecting a gearbox that allows shifting @9k revs.
So any input on this item is also welcome.

I dont see a synchro box shift at 9 K, so it would need a dogbox ... or even a sequential unit

    Hey Hugo!!

Then we are on the same page about that.
I have driven the Drenth 02A dogbox in 1997 in this same car after destroying a few 020 boxes!
Back then the car was wihte with a Schrick/weber 16v and the 02A Drenth box. Now I am sorry that I sold that box.

So I know that a dogbox is the was to go.
Seq is a bridge to far right now, to expensive.

You must be lucky to find VWMS parts, they don't come easy.
