    mk1 and mk2 cruise stalks are electrically identical to mk3 :)

    the pre-90/mk1/scirocco ce1 stalks haver a different plug on but still work, the ce2 mk2 stalk has the same plug on so pops right onto the tdi connector :thumbup:

    Absolutely brilliant! Cheers Rubjonny. If using the mk2 diesel clocks however as I plan to do eventually would I need a speed sensor somehow?

    yes you need to make sure the clocks you buy have the ability to add the speed sensor to the back of the speedometer, you should see a spare bit of blue ribbon foil with 3 pins on it :)

    mk2 petrol clocks could be used on a TDI with the same type of tacho adaptor that the 20v guys use as well, so thats another option worst case

    Can you help me, I drive Audi A4 B5 APU engine. I did the same thing as show in this topic, cruise control works great but when I go on downhill, the car doesnt use brake to keep the same speed 80 kph, and go over it. Is this a problem or its normal. Thank you.

    P.s. I know this is vw forum but noone want to help me in audi forum.
