has anyone refurbished their headliner? I’ve removed my headliner and sunroof. I’m hoping the headliner will be straight forward when reupholstering. I can’t find a tutorial on how to do the sunroof though. I don’t know how to remove the plastic finger slats on the sunroof so I can fit new material under it. I’ve already snapped one of the lugs.

    Any help much appreciated.

    Paul

Looks like those circular grey plastic heads are where plastic pins were melted to spread like rivets to hold the moulding in place.

Cutting or drilling the melted-over caps seems the only way to free the moulding.
