   Afternoon all,
   
   Golf gti mk2 8 valve digifant 1987
   
   Just in the process of putting car back together after heater matrix leaked everywhere. Unfortunately I forgot to make a note of which way the hoses from the engine block and the metal pipe connect to the heater matrix connections
   
   Could anyone help me out?

   Hello there, the one from the side of the engine goes to the gearbox side connection, metal pipe to the engine side. Or to put it another way 'don't cross the streams'
