Just wanted to say hi and share some pics of my beloved Mk2 Golf, had a lot of work done by me since 2011 and fitted with a 2.3L AQN VR5 engine from a Toledo. hope you guys appreciate her.
Hi Sam, It does go very well yes and the gearing on the 5 speed V5 box seems a bit shorter than VR6, not sure if it is or not. VVT makes a small difference top end too. If I was keeping it I would put a GT30 on and possibly 4motion but just not feasible at the moment unfortunately. Any ideas on how much to ask for it? it's so hard to put a value on! Cheers, Paul.

11k, I think that is a bit cheeky, it’s a lovely clean car, I don’t see why you couldn’t get 5k and upwards for it.

Lovely looking Mk2. Rare in silver. Was it the extra V5 top end speed that took off your passengers wiper or is it a budget single wiper conversion?
