Hi all Can any help me with these What's important and what's not and then help me with what I need to change etc Thanks for the help I k ow some are repeated
Best bet is Google like this - Ross tech then Pxxxx whatever the code is. Can hardly read your pics sorry. edit - I zoomed in lol. the 131, 140 and 141 are to do with 02 sensors both banks. 1420 is an SAI code - you don't have that 1613 is a MIL code , euro cars don't have that I don't think. ignore those. I would be looking at the 02 sensors and wiring out of that lot.
The other codes are P0120 P0134 P1473 P1475 Are these worth looking at or can there be turned off by vagcom

With the car having those previous codes for lambda sensors i'd be looking at them as you're probably running in 'open loop' all the time. Hence petrol smell. Your chip seems to be a bit 'American' as they would have the MIL,SAI etc
Scan tool should tell you on live data, but if lambda sensor isn't working it will never switch over. Even if lambda sensor is working and going into closed loop the car only uses this during idle and cruising, full throttle it switches to open loop. My old mk2 VR6 had lambda sensor issues when it was converted but when i checked it out, there had been a replacement sensor connector (badly) soldered into the loom off the donor car, I resoldered it and the lambda fault was gone.
Cheers Mate I fitted a new lambda sensor last year and I checked all wiring looks ok . I only have 1 lambda though
Thats where i was getting confused, the codes mentioned bank 2 sensors . US cars will have 2 lamdba sensors pre and post cat.
