Been after another car for the missus for a while, the Derby is just too old and slow and she's sick of it now.

so, went to the scrappy for a mk3 subframe, bingoo, found just what I wanted in the boot of a SEAT toledo! along with a front cross memebr (same as a corrado vr6!) chuffed to bits.

Then went to have alook at the prnaged cars, as I knew they had a H plate mk2 I was going to look at.

Lo and behold, a 51 plate Lupo 1.0, in bright apple green, minor knock on the front corner. Need bumper and grille, and a dent kocking out of the bonnet and wing and a bit of paint.

    I got it for 2050!!!!

2.5 years old, one owner, 21K, 300 to fix it I reckon.

How's that for a bargain! I'll never buy a straight car again!!!

Bargain, cant complain on that one!!!

If you can do the work yourself, or know someone who can do it, best way to buy a car!

CAUTION! Green cars are unlucky. I can provide the names of four people that will testify that as well.

Are you going for the full respray?
