I'm looking for a green or jr filter for my mk2 20vt to replace the poop mushroom kit on it atm. Not sure what I need to go for size wize. I'm running a GT30 turbo amd thr battery has been relocated to the boot so loads of space to place the filter in. All help appreciated and I'll be ordering whatever filter will be most fit for purpose And before anybody mentions it - im opting for cone filter as i can't be bothered with relocating the washer bottle in order to fit the airbox I have.
I'll check the maf size on it, but I'll be running a silicone or alu pipe to locate the cone where the battery would normally be in a mk2 so probably flexible on size. I'm going to have a play on the car later again so I'll take my tape measure and come back to you Bill! Filter also needs to be good to 400bhp
Bill - the MAF is 75mm. o 70, 75 or 80mm neck size will be fine I should have thought. I'll go with your recommendation.
Jr filter for 80mm like I used on the BT polo is just over 400bhp rated. 48 filter plus 7 delivery regards bill
