Does anyone have pictures of genuine / TRW / Lemforder inner tie rods for a MK2 with Power steering? Its to go in my aftermarket parts analysis thread.

I've currently go the option of FAG and SKF trackrods, I think I prefer the FAG ones but they seem to be filled with normal grease rather than Moly which I think is wrong?

    Can anyone shine any light

And also why do some tie rods have that rubber doughnut where the boot is meant to fit?

Iirc manual ones have the rubber.

Would notmal grease be a problem?

Yep spot on, didn't think to check that.

Well I'm not sure, I would think Moly would be more suited as they take heavy slow and oscillating loads which is where moly is normally used
