Fitted a set of injector O rings to the car today, couldn`t believe what I found.

The top big donuts were loose, and these had been letting water in over a period of years probably, pulled the injectors and there was loads of rust, looked like I was pulling corks out [xx(].

Seriously you need to check them, I`m looking out for a set of injectors now, they`re that bad! Wish I took the camera with me, you wouldn`t believe the state they were in!

Get Merc 190 injectors - they are cheaper, brass instead of steel, and are said to give a slight increase in performance.....

Part number for the Merc injectors is 0-437-502-047 apparently, from a 1986 2.3l 190E. From the Vortex....

I got some new o rings last week from gsf, changed them over but the old ones wern't too bad. But it was worth changing them for piece of mind and they don't cost much anyway.

The numbers for those were posted on here in the last fortnight or so - my Etka isn't working at the minute or I'd find them now. But if you try a search they should come up.....

Yup, and yours need replaced by the sound of it - causes vacuum leaks.

How do you get the injectors out of a MK1. Tried to pull mine out but they wouldn't move.

Do they come on their own or with the braided pipes attached?

The injectors come out with the braided pipe attatched, If the injectors are not coming out you need to pull harder. On mine i used some mole grips and a bit of leverage and the injectors came out no problem.

Are the braided pipes part of the injecter or are they sold as seperate items?
