Hi everyone I'm planning on putting in a kjet gti engine on weber carb into my mk2 golf after having years of problems with my driver engine my m8 has sent me a link to some gearbox drain plugs on ebay but they come in sizes m12 m13 m14 m16 m20 and m22 I'm not sure which size I would need to block the injector holes in the head

M24x1.5 for a VW box drain/fill plug. sort of tyhing you can get out scrappy, take a 17mm hex with you or a wheel bolt and spanner

The aren't in the head they are in the inlet manifold. You used to be able to buy proper plugs a long while back.

You migh be best off finding a more suitable inlet manifold?.

also the gearbox drain plug does definitly work for some injector ports, but now I think about it there may be 2 sizes depending on the age. easy to tell if its m22 or m24 just measure the diameter of the hole/insert

There's cutouts in the head but the actual injector boss is part of the inlet manifold?.
