Well here it is, pics of the X-flow This i'll be the front then! and the back a nice Schrick 304 cam a bit of porting supposidly a Schrick vernier pulley 35mm exhaust valves and 40.5mm inlet valves 7mm Stem also have a twin dcoe manifold but thats away already to be polished Edited by: oakgreen88
oh yes! will do, the lighting is really bad, will try and get some better pics not sure, but i've built the bottom end with arp rod bolts, some people have said my limiter will need to be up near 8k with the 304cam,
pics arent great but.... head had to be modded so the cam clears! inlet: a couple of the exhaust ports: Edited by: oakgreen88
Its basically like a 16v engine. Air comes in the front, goes out the back. In laymans terms, rather than on a standard 8v it entering and exiting at the rear.
But its an engine that is alredy like this? Or is it some type of conversion? That is what i don't understand!
hydraulic 8 valve head with 5 cam bearings, nice. guess they've re routed the oil squirter differently in the head in the crossflow, what sort of machining have you got to do to it to make it fit a normal 8valve block?
certainly not hydraulic! its been converted to solid lifters - its gonna need it with the 304 cam! you cant see it but the insides have been modded to solid its all part of the schrick kit Edited by: oakgreen88
