Long time coming (X-Flow pics)

    Well here it is, pics of the X-flow

    This i'll be the front then! ;)

    a nice Schrick 304 cam [:$]

    a bit of porting

    supposidly a Schrick vernier pulley [:s]

    35mm exhaust valves and 40.5mm inlet valves

    7mm Stem

    also have a twin dcoe manifold but thats away already to be polished [:D]

    Nice. What sort of peak power at what rpm to these 8v cross flows make?

    oh yes! [:$]

    will do, the lighting is really bad, will try and get some better pics

    not sure, but i've built the bottom end with arp rod bolts, some people have said my limiter will need to be up near 8k with the 304cam,

    Its basically like a 16v engine. Air comes in the front, goes out the back. In laymans terms, rather than on a standard 8v it entering and exiting at the rear.

    But its an engine that is alredy like this? Or is it some type of conversion? That is what i don't understand!

    So, you have to get a mk4 exaust setup and all!? is that mod worth it?

    hydraulic 8 valve head with 5 cam bearings, nice.



    guess they've re routed the oil squirter differently in the head in the
    crossflow, what sort of machining have you got to do to it to make it
    fit a normal 8valve block?

    certainly not hydraulic! its been converted to solid lifters - its gonna need it with the 304 cam! [:D] you cant see it but the insides have been modded to solid its all part of the schrick kit

    was originally hydraulic tho, plus how am i supposed to see as you said!
