Lupo water leak

I pulled away from a traffic island and a massive waterfall of water came down from the dash onto the passengers foot well.

Any ideas what might be the problem?

Found the problem.
The drain holes in the scuttle tray were blocked. there was about 3-4 pints of water sloshing around. when i pulled away the water went down into the heater!

 

Hope it didnt cause any damage, thanks for letting us know what it was
