well ive no need to change the engine but im going to see how a mk5 r32 turbo holds ,
so far stripped the lump , added a mk4 r32 forged crank to safe
    headspacer,
    modifyed some 530cc injectors,
    made a alloy welded manifold
    modifyed a mk5 fuel into a mk4 style
rewired the engine for ms3x and vvt wired up
    added ls2 coils
    trail started on the floor
ive got the gearbox in bits changeing ratios at mo,
then need to make a exhuast turbo manifold
    then add hx40 turbo
    quick pic

thing is u dont realise how mutch air air is compressed in a box area, hernce when it ballons up and you hear a nice ,,pop ,,, u know more modifying is needed , so 8mm alloy dosent pop just pulls :) ive got 6 gearboxs in bits here ,looks like a cog shop

regards wheel pal , as its bent , they usely break when trying to bend them , back , as id basicly , break the lump out and re weld it straight then regrind the back , ud , need to spray the wheel throw , yes can be sorted ,maybe cheeper finding another wheel

new manifold arrived arrived and thought id do a trail fit ,all seems good,,,..but hit a issiuse
didnt realise these manifolds are for t25 turbos , and mines a t3 ,, sdue to were external wastgate is shown, its in the wrong place , so that turbo intake is wrong way as well ..
so bit of adapting is needed first manifold
    [IMG]
then chopped t25 flange off and welded a cast t3 flange on along with ,moving external wastegate too
    [IMG]
notice now the intakes on the left and not on right ,
    [IMG]
notice were old wastegate is now , ill just make a blanking plate , so then manifold can be used both ways
    [IMG]
    trail fit time
    [IMG]
fits good , also i can now not only fit a turbo either way , but also spin the intake snail 360deg for any pipe angle ,,

well thought id try a mk5 r32 and adapt it in my caddy and add a blower , only low boost im affraid ,:thumbd: but made a start made a new alloy poloybush mount, new paddle clutch tdi 4wd gearbox,6speed
made a new stainless exhuast, custom intercooler pipe work, and plenty of wireing to plum up lol , few pics here
    [IMG]
grrr didnt relise mk5 r32 clutch carnt be used on a 2.8 4motion solid flywheel , (differncernt depths)
    trail fitted
    [IMG]
few sensors added , my save a few lights flashing on the dash
    [IMG]
made as mutch free..ish room i could in the space i have left
    [IMG]
then hit a issiuse exhust carnt go under car, and trying to fit a large hx40 turbo on this manifold was a tw..t , but bit of modifying turbos fitted and made a new exhuast pipe
