    It's taken some doing to get this far with the s*** year i'm having, but seem to be getting there now.
    I've done pretty much every last thing on the car myself.

    This is how I got the car, had to take my own back suspension for it, cost me a grand total of an old P200 board and chip. [:^:]

    The engine is a standard KR 1.8 16V, with a 4 branch and full exhaust. I have a 2l9A block for it, but that's undergoing major surgery first[}:)].

    The green car next to it is my dads retirement project, it's a '74 Reliant Scimitar, at the moment it makes a great place for throwing junk on/in!!

    Ahhhhhhhh a Scimitar! I can see it now... Quite like them myself, nearly bought one a few years ago. V6 burble...

    what scimitar is it, I helped do a bit of work on an se4 coupe (conversion to rover and jag irs) many years ago and realy have a softspot for them since. A customer of ours had an se5 with the v6... damn quick!

    back to the golf.

    Looks good! :) what it the white pipework running down the outside of the inner wing?

    pipework, is that rerouting of wiring through wing to clean up engine bay perchance?

    I hate messy wires so these keep them out of sight, and using a full mk2 loom makes it easier as the wires are a little bit longer, there's been minimal hacking and extending/shortening wires.

    Fusebox moved house too.
