    Oh
    My
    God.

Utterly sensational. An absolute credit to you.

What exactly bothers the msa scrutes about the arch vents?

Lots of people think fitting cage and stripping it 'ruins' a car, but I think it still looks pretty good ;)

I think that it is this...

    MSA section J (5.2.6)

With the exception of racing cars or cars from A to D be equipped on all wheels with mudguards which present no sharp edges and cover the complete wheel (flange + rim + tyre) around an arc of 120 degrees.

    The minimum coverage must be:

    A) be achieved with a continuous surface of rigid material within which ventilation louvres may be fitted. The tyre must not be visible when viewed from above.
When viewed from the rear, the tyre must not be visible from any point above 50mm or more above the axle centre line.

    Thanks Sam

Whole thread has had broken photobucket links sorted

    [8D]

Thanks to rubjonny suggestion on another thread - have gone through and edited each tag and took about 1.5 hours, so not too bad.

Something like this could be perfect if it was rounded and the curve happened to match the arc of the existing berg arches. However, I fear that chances of finding this are slim!

I have experimented with fine mesh so that it still allows air to pass, but I could then argue that you cannot 'see' the tyre. Problem was properly fixing it to underside of the arch. Will take another look at it again soon.

Wurth Bond and Seal will stick anything to anything else, if the surfaces are clean and dry. And will stay stuck.

    No drama lol

The 3 door vents as Ive shown are quite a decent size and I reckon could be made to fit and look neat as only fibreglass so could be cut/bent and glued in place

    Approx 8inches x 5 inches
