Fairly well compared to a KR, there are other fast mk2s around you know... the world doesn't stop at the M50:p

    do share...
the one I am proposing is proportioning the incoming pwm from 100% of incoming to 0% of incoming, so take take further control from the ecu's mapped levels to user turn a dial/knob settings

whats the thing you are thinking of mate?

I think Maurice used to/does use a dial/knob for boost adjustment, going back a while so possibly Mike Truluck?

Sam, been speaking to Bill we're going to try out our theories and possibly [if it works] be able to sell a cheap boost controller,

    Nice!

One question Bill, take off for the wastegate which bends away from direction of the exh gas flow, have you noticed any draw backs with it as i'v always been told even 90 deg angle is bad enough?

    Certantly makes installation easier tho

no draw backs at all. function has always been perfect on mine which has same orientation w/g

i think someone's pulled your chain on this from a theoretical position, as in practice this works perfectly

I see, i'm in middle of mocking up a top mount GT30R on tubular manifold and finding a suitable position for W.G. clearance and accessibility wise is not easy, cheers Bill

    Looks good Bill.

Can I ask where the manifold comes from? Somewhere in the states?

Any more updates on the brakes at all?

The guy who was supplying my calipers let me down and I am trying to find something suitable for use with those discs that you supplied (also to be fitted under 15"). Those AP's look like they would do the job - do you have a P/N for them?

    Cheers

    somewhere in the states yes

    what disks have you got?
The brakes on this mk2 are one off... as it now runs vr6 front end suspension widetrack inc hubs which are different.

They are the two piece 305mm discs which you had the bells coated black. I think you said they were AP? Certainly look the same discs as on this MK2...

Yeh, I had seen the calipers listed at AP. Not part of a kit so interesting to see how you get on with the brackets.

Are the calipers a lot more compact than a Porsche Brembo caliper or equivalent Seat Brembo? How is the clearance between back of spokes and front face?

the CP calipers are copact yes, being motorsport calipers (no dust seals)
On this setup the caliper clearance on 330mm setup I have also done for a VAg Trophy R32 mk2, squeazed in 330x28 under 16" MO's, and has 38mm caliper clearance as per this piccy
