This is possibly in the wrong spot so apologies if it is

after having a new scuttle I’ve come to re install the gutters on my mk2, got the roof/ above the doors all clipped in but can’t seem to get it to clip onto any of the clips down the a pillars, any recommendations on the tool to use and how to do it?Used a blunt chisel to tap the rest in place with a small hammer

    Any help really appreciated!

hmmm, i think i started at the A-pillars with mine and i used all new clips, it could be that you're not sitting far enough back on the A-pillar, i know that they are a pita to get on and off!

Im using all new clips but still no luck, I’ll give it another go, how did you go about tapping them in under the lip? Bend the rubber back with the tool?

if i remember right first i went under the lip and then with a rubber hammer and a block tapped them home, unfortunately mine at the back are a little bent up, use a little wd40 on the rubber it makes everything easier

Marking where the clips are with masking tape helps, too!
