Mk2 Golf C

Hello all i am looking in buying a mk2 golf 1.3 and wanted to know if this was would be a good buy for a 1.3 considering the blue interior and 'C' model are hard to find if anybody could give me advice on it that would be much appreciated thanks.

To be fair the car looks to be in very good condition and totally standard/original and from my perspective that's how I like them. Mk2's in general are increasing in value these days. Presuming the car is completely legit and I see no reason why it wouldn't be,then it's worth a punt - I would expect you to get it for 3,750-4,000. It also looks like a good basis for a conversion of some kind or another (if that's on your radar at some stage).

Oh and I meant to say, if at all possible it would be worth getting the car on a lift and checking the undercarriage for signs of the dreaded rot and or accident damage - typical places for rust are sills, jacking points, wheel arches and anywhere a grommet is or isn't supposed to be.

That does look to be in good condition from the pics personally I wouldn't chop it around too much if it's really original but that's my own view

 

Yeah i fully understand i wouldn't mess with it either probably put it on lowering springs.
