It's coming up again for the timing belt to be replaced (200k on the clock) and whilst that's being done, thought it'd be convenient to swap out the tensioner/pulleys as (at least) one of them is making a racket. Not the biggest enquiry on the board but can anyone recommend where I should source the parts? Usually just go on price but as there's some shoddy shit on the market, want to be sure that standard parts being fitting are of a decent quality. Thanks.

Gates, Dayco, ContiTech, Skf, they'll be all fine.

Mines a Dayco I believe. Just got it and the tensioner of eBay as a pair.

Thanks, I was looking at the Gates (and Dayco) ones and they cost slightly more than Febi, (which I always regarded as a benchmark of decent stuff) so I'll probably go with one of those.

Gates is really good. Up to 100k all OK
