Not being mechanically minded, is it possible to put throttle bodies on a mk3 8v?

If it is is it worth it?

    What are the gains?

    How much does it cost?

    Has anyone done it?

    Thanks for the help:)

Anythings possible if you have the time/skill/money. There are a couple of DIY ITB'd 8v's over on the vortex. For the less DIY minded you can get a DCOE manifold for the 8v, and DCOE style throttle bodies. IMO not worth it though, tb's are strongest on high revving well breathing motors, which your average 8v isn't. There are plenty of other things i'd be doing first, just my opinion though.

If you've not got the ability to do most of it yourself itb's are probably going to cost somewhere around 2.5k [:s]
