In an effort to get square shoulders, I got a set of GTI mk4 spindles and hubs from a scrap yard. I was going to weld and re-drill, but thought I'd get fancy. I made the bad assumption that there was only one diameter and ordered some hubs in from Latvia. The spindles are 30mm and the hubs are 28mm. I do have some adapter plates for the mounting hole differences, or I can cut/weld/drill/tap to mount whatever. I either have to identify and purchase new stubs that are 28mm (and ideally bolt on to a mk3 GTI beam), or get 30mm hubs that are 4x100 and modify the beam or use the adapters. This is beginning to drag out and I feel silly that I'm not getting the big picture.
On a side note, I just received a set of front hubs that accept Audi 80 CV's to reduce the failures I've had on that end. Found a guy to machine them for me locally and they are sweet.

If you can make a plate to hold caliper carrier I would suggest getting 9n polo rear stub axle, it bolts to mk3 beam and would use the polo 6n2 hubs and bearings you already have. 20200523_110906.jpg

9n rear beam with integral caliper bracket, same on drum brakes model, just unused as backplate covers it. I cut this plate off the beam and machined it flat then drilled out the 4 threaded holes to bolt through.

To create a caliper mount bracket behind the 9n stub axle, bolted to my mk2 beam. 6n2 hubs for 4 stud.

They look good @HPR, also shows the 5x100 hub can be redrilled to 4x100 without welding it up (did marina hubs for a Ford anglia years ago and was a pain) so that is hopeful for a vr6 front flange to 4 stud for 6 speed conversion plan.

Must be manufactured by Kin-El enterprises, at least that's what I thought when I saw the price.

Don't know the Kin-El enterprises reference, but it is to rich for me. If you generously figure $100/ea for rotors, and $75 for hubs, that makes those stubs about $325 a piece.

Hey everyone, would there be a recommended aftermarket supplier for caliper mount bracket? I have a mk2 and a 9n3 polo rear hubs I am trying to make work.

Believe epytec make them, and possibly creation motorsport, might be worth talking to Al at retrofication as he does a mk4 stub to caddy plate I seem to remember.
Or cut the end off a polo arm and grind it flat.
