    Ok.

The front seats are Mk4 GTI Recaros, modified to fit, by way of a bracket with is bolted to the subframe. I'm not totally happy with this solution, and so I will be having Mk4 runners welded in at some point.
The rears are Mk3 VR (standard) seats, retrimmed.

acf8181 - The Mk4 rears were a bit of a headache to get in and so I stayed with the originals. There wasn't a huge lot of difference anyway, apart from that the Mk4's would have looked just not quite right.

Retrim was done by MJ Interiors.

Thank you, once again, for your kind comments. It makes it worth it!! [8D]

can you elaborate a bit? (what do you mean by 'they wouldn't have looked right? and, did the actual seats fit, but needed new brackets to attach them?)

the seats i'm planning are the ones my mate had in his '52' mkIV gt tdi pd 130...heres the pics...

..now the rears are nicely contoured, but if it won't look right, do you reckon mj would be able to put h/rests in my mkIII ones and trim them exactly to match for reasonable money? suppose i might as well get the grey pattern bit put on the door cards as well?

Gotta say Phil, I much prefer your old wheels. Reckon you will too after you've had to give them a decent clean!

    Absolutely sweet motor though

Looks very nice on the BBS's, but not convinced it's quite as good as the Azev's!! Are you keeping the Azev's as well as a spare set?
