Bill I am interested to obtain a stainless steel exhaust manifold for my ITB KR engine... thanks. (shipped to Malaysia)
The 5th Lord William of Badger's Bank. Great news on setting up in your own place Bill - look forward to the Dyno getting installed, let us know when it's in and we'll be down for a ClubGTI rolling road day.
the one i used to run was a magnex manifold. supersprint did one for ldh cars also (better design imho)
Stumbled across your premises friday afternoon whilst out looking for a job, looks a good size and a great location for customes to find you.
It is great is'nt it.. had to go for it... when it came up. on my door step also to home 1mile from J13 Industrial area - so when I get a dyno I dont think I will have issues with noise.
good luck chap. my mechanic has had dealings with you (he used to work for al white), and has always spoken highly of you. we were both at coombe today and wundered what happened to the motor ?. i was on track at the time and there was lots of smoke, turbo ?. martin.
head gasket me thinks.. coolant pumped out, and radiator is bulged into weird shape after seeing combustion chamber pressures lots of smoke, grey/white smoke.
UPDATE: New Aquisition Finally.. Badger5 has just got itself a Dyno !! Woohoo!! Finally Dastek Dyno, 2wd, 750bhp rated (apparently) Now, there's more news.. Also very likely to be moving premesis to a close, more modern, slightly larger 2400sqmtr unit which has additional mezzanine. More on this when the arrangeements are complete. Dyno will be installed in the new unit not where I am currently. For now it will sit on my trailor so I can move it in and out and still use my workshop. Finally got a tool I have wanted for a long time..
Nice one, I think thats a tool we'd all love to have in the garage! Is the new premisis going to be around the Stonehouse area again?
yea, if the deal is made, the new unit is less than 1/2 mile from where I am not, just further down the road on an industrial estate. still be a GL10 postcode
thankyou wanted one for a long time now.. now just the ickle job of sorting out new premesis and moving.. lol.. feck!
Thats a quality dyno chassis you have got there Bill, its based on the LPS dyno very simlar to the one we use. Its never let us down once. Are you sinking it in to the ground? We kept ours raised and use a 4 post lift to get the cars on the the dyno, we have found it easier to strap the big bhp cars down, and as I am setting old it saves me bending down and in return saves my back..lol I hope all goes well with the new rr and workshop.
