NEW DYNO for Badger5 - Premises move to larger shortly also

    Dyno Pit is now dug, and concrete is drying now.... what a hot weekend to do this!

    cutting out the slab (started 6pm Friday night, finished (knackered), at about half 9pm)

    Spoil in 9 yard skip (started again 8am saturday, to finish the digging)

    DPM goes in saturday about 9am

    Concrete arrived at 9.30 saturday. hard readymix with fibres

    Shuttered up for pouring the walls sunday

    Now waiting for it to dry until tuesday night to break out the shuttering.

    next to get hold of a fork lift truck for a few mins and unload my trailor of dyno and drop it in.

    the main part will sit approx flush to proud slightly... I will likely play with this height with shims to get ride height and roller depth as best a compromise I can. being in the doorway to the workshop it cant protrude too much out of the ground

    dyno is in old unit, as i have for now abandoned looking and waiting for somewhere else to move to.... Need the dyno working , so its going into the old unit whilst I continue looking for alternate premesis.

    be very glad to see it working after all this time.

    only kidding..
    its single phase 20amp so I need to run a feed to it, and also a 3phase supply to the HD fan I am aquiring. (not the large air movers in the pictures)

    That's the only problem i saw with a few RR over the years are a lack of tidy airflow, hopefully yours will be more up to the job Bill.

    Nice updates.

    weight is around the 1000kg level i think

    stands up about 10-15mm from ground level

    well chuffed mate

    looking fwd to using it

    power next connection, and finish painting floor, check out old industrial fan i have lined up for suitability.. then some training on it, some floor plates which should arrive tomorrow hopefully, to strap to, and we should be good to go

    How does it secure into the floor? Weight, wedges down the side or an inbuilt clamp system?
