The 1.8 TFSI engine sounds tasty, offering an impressive amount of torque and BHP, and I'm happy to hear that they will be offering this in both manual and DSG. Looking forward to having a look at one of these at my local dealers once they are available.
Don't like new dubs that much as they have a shelf life .....never to be retro ....front part of the roof is missing also which mists up on a cold night and looks crap
Must admit I do like the Polo BlueGT. Mk2 sized except for the pitiful boot and on paper similar performance to 16V, but I'm not sure what the power delivery is like. As above the shelf life of the engine remains to be seen. The fuel pump must be eye watering alone since it operates at 2900 PSI. It could potentially make an awesome daily engine for a Mk2 although I'd want the 150 PS ACT.
We test drove one of those BlueGT Polo's, and i loved it. Felt really quick, and they look great too. But my Mrs chose the GTI in the end. That 1.4 Twin Charged in hers is a great little engine.
