    Just resurrecting this thread as i'm playing with my TTs at the mo and aiming for a lightweight(ish) fast road car.
    Do you have any pictures of the smaller wheels fitted? Shedding some rotational weight is high on my list at the mo the 19" y spokes are hefty.

    There are plenty of photos of the car with 18s throughout this thread (post 69 and 99 for eg). I went with OEM TT 18s as front brake clearance is a real issue with aftermarket 18s if you want to keep the stock wheel offset. I still have them in the shed if you need some. Mint condition. Also 'race' tyre choice is much better in 18" than 19".

    I see that VAG group started to do good things these years and their engines are also pretty good.
