I don't follow you - why does that mean you need to use the Audi head? Didn't you already get a pack D done a couple of years ago?

yes i have the head from a couple of years ago, but the F3 ITB's clash with the injector holes, so i could do with using a carb'd head really, only problem is they come with 38mm inlets, so ill have to change inlets and outlets increasing the cost.

ill have a chat with him

I'm trying to picture that... is it really the holes or just the inserts they foul on? Any pics of the problem?

I can't see those vortex pics, the other ones don't show the fouling of the throttle bodies. Why not have the extra bit removed and welded up. It would be cheaper than having another head done... or could the throttle bodies be modified? Spacer plate made from an old PB manifold flange?

Hijacks and diversions are fine if it's an interesting topic ;)

i have a flange that i had cut when i was going to use ITB's, could be a spacer, the problem may then come that im pushing the TB's against the firewall.

Ill take a few pictures tonight.

Surely to do this properly, and get the benefit from your fancy kit, you should put a mini-on-webers-type airbox in the firewall anyway? Assume the scuttle is chopped already?
