Hi,I've done new brakes this week disks&spades all round.i had to remove rear callipers as they were in a right state.one pad was corroded on.anyway cleaned em up wound the Pistons back in and refitted it all.
Bled brakes the old 2 man way.now my brakes are crap.pedal feel solid when stationary with engine off.
Start engine push pedal and it sinks down a lot before any real brake effect what's happening.thanks

Would have thought there is a procedure with VCDS for these.

System has to be bled using a pressurised system. Either suck or blow type bleeders....master cylinder also needs bleeding. Pumping pedal induces air back into system. Pedal will go hard when engine off as there is no servo assistant.

Also once bled correctly, pedal will feel a tad spongy until new brakes bed in.

Had one last attempt to get rid of air.got a load more bubbles out of rear lines now near spot on very little travel.
    Back to how it was.
