Petrol Boost Valves

    any one got one? tried one?

    Just heard that they compliment a filter and exhaust quite well.....or are they another cheap trick to make you part with your hard earned cash?

    Which ones you on about? The FSE jobs or the Ecotek sh*te things?

    All they do is replace the standard fuel pressure regulator at the end of the fuel rail & introduces a higher (& adjustable) pressure felt in the fuel rail before the excess pressure is bled back to the tank.

    Not a great deal of use unless big fuelling changes are required IMO.

    Not sure how they work on cars with Lambda probes/Cats either. Not terribly well using my logic......

    Ure best off getting a rechip to make the most of any induction/exhaust mods..
