They dont count for anything really. We moved from a D to a B and our insurance didnt go down. The idea being, we still live in a close vicinity to Birmingham town centre, and when we are out and about, thats when its most likely for an incident to take place. So they also base the insurance costs on areas you are likely to travel to, as well as the area you reside in.
