Quick Mk4 outer cv gaiter question

    One of the recent MOT advisories on my Mk4 Anni was a very minor small hole in the nearside outer CV Gaiter...... this is probably a rookie question, but are they the same both sides? I know the VW part number I need is 8N0 498 203 but want to do both rather than just one and will buy two if I can.

    Any help appreciated on that one!

    Yes. Same on both sides. Proper dirty shitty job. I hate it so much.

    Haha yep it's the grease isn't it! Cheers for that, it's only a rubber boot isn't it but just wanted to be totally sure :thumbup:
