Just heard one of the band on radio1. They seemed well chuffed, they're gonna do a free uk gig to say thanks. Hopfully it's be a lottery for everyone who bought the single or joined the group. Love to see them live! Tbh if the only thing to come out of this was one in the eye to cowell, totally worth it, but if he even turns a small part of his money making machine to finding the next RATM, Kings of Leon or Kasabian (insert your face band here) rather than the next Leona Lewis it'll be great!

ah ha ha. I find this a very funny comment, from someone who loves top gear. THE most obviously faked show on tv, to the point it makes me cringe!!! Simon cowell plays the whole pantomime thing, but i actually find him entertaining. And thinking that making that guy not get number one is 'showing' him anything is stupid. The guy has more money than you can imagine. Sure he will still sleep fine tonight knowing all the hype this has got and that ITV will now be falling over themselves to sign the show next year (where he makes all the money anyway)
I would imagine - the hatred is aimed at x-factor in general. When there is massive hype about anything people always kick back, its human nature. Apple stuff gets hyped, people **** it off. Lets look at what simon cowell really is: a kind of geeky guy, that looks awkward in his clothes. He's made stupid amounts of money from a tv show supposed to be about a certain thing ('singing') when really most can't sing, its all about the hype/entertainment factor. There are other guests/judges on the show - but they are all somehow slightly 'lower ranked' and he gets paid a load more. He talks like his opinion is gospel, when in fact most people discredit it. Are you sure he isn't clarkson's brother?

Aye both signed to Sony, but Simon won't see a penny from the RATM loyalties as his p*ss-ant little company (who has the rights to Joe's rectum) is only part of the global giant glorious Sony. Praise Sony. Go on... praise them. Please?
