Both pull rods/stalks that are used to fold down the rear bench in both have been snapped by the previous owner. 191 885 683 A is the part code but it seems to NLA available everywhere. There is a version for a MK3 which looks similar, 1H0885683 (01C).

Does anyone know if these are the same?

I ordered those MK3 ones. I haven’t fitted them yet as the rear bench is out. But they look the same to me as well, except they aren’t split like my ones

Will do! I've ordered from Werk34 before for some repair panels that I couldn't get anywhere else. I'm going to get the MK3 ones and hopefully they should be here in a few weeks!

So I've just received my order from oemVWShop, which despite my initial reservations, I would actually highly recommend! I got my two seat pull rods for 21,78 euros including VAT.

I've no idea if they're a different length to the MK2 ones because they have both broken on my car, however I've attached a picture of them fitted and they work perfectly! Maybe stick up slightly too far? But hopefully @rubjonny can confirm that.
