Recommend a Thatcham alarm or immobiliser for a very basic Mk2?

    My Mk2 is basic as they come. No Central locking or electric windows.

    Can anyone recommend a decent alarm/immobiliser to suit it?

    Thats what i have too. its been great and you can add some solenoids to it for remote central locking for only a few quid!

    It is a very good alarm - had one fitted for 7 years and worked a treat.

    I've got a mate that works for cobra trac do cobra do any good alarms nowadays ? I might be able to get a group buy or something :thumbup:

    dont think it hurts, the elecs are pretty simple to get at on a mk2, id imagine someone that knows a mk2 could bypass an imobilser fairly easy
