Anyone out there have a spare 2.9 abv engine ecu me and my mate could borrow for few days? Basically his car refuses to start and he suspects ecu due to recent running problems and dying battery which he was disconnecting, reconnecting numerous times Basically there is no 12v supply to coil packs, pump doesnt prime etc We checked/replaced all relays etc but still no joy Will be easy to check with a known good ecu if anyone has a spare? Would course be appreciated and rewarded His ecu details 1994 OBD 1 021 906 258 AG
EDIT: Just found the bottom sticker on mine reading: 021 906 258 A Not sure if this will work or not as its for my mk2 2.8 OBD1 distributor engine. Its a Bosch Motronic 2.7 but I know the 2.9 ABV has a slightly different ECU.
