Times like this I get frustrated.... Seriously thinking of buying an Eazi-Bleed. Anyhoo , I replaced all the brake pipes , flexi and solid to her mk2 GTI , and a new load sensing valve . Stripped and rebuilt the rear calipers too . Now I have a spongey pedal with feck all brakes , I've bled it , and bled it , and bled it... car on stands , car on the ground , load valve fully open and held fully closed. And no air coming , just fluid.... any ideas folks? Never had this problem before. Is it possible air would get trapped in the load valve , or in the short flexi to the rear calipers?
I had the same problem, even an EaziBleed wouldn't work. I was advisd to remove the rear calipers and bleed them rotated slightly with the nipples pointing upwards and keep moving the caliper around. this worked for me after pumping 4 litres of fluid through the system
