starting problems when sunny

    hi, any 1 help my mate has a 58reg 1.4 petrol, polo it starts every time from cold, turns engine off and starts no problem again but when car is left in sunshine it has problems starting

    have you got any more info, as it could be anything, i had a mk 1 golf years back that when it got hot the fuse board which had a crack in it expanded enough to break a circuit and it would die, until i bent the board or it cooled!! strange but true :thumbup: has it an imobiliser, could it be that, is it an electrical system somewhere else, does it make any noises? more info would be good ;)

    i dont know a lot about it but i know he took it to a garage and he also mentioned it could be the immobiliser i`ll find out a bit more, just thought i would pop the question incase anything stands out on these cars

    not sure if serious or april fools...

    i would understand a car having issues from starting warm, but sunshine!?
