Vauxhall dealers do a deal when you buy three gallon cans of semi synthetic oil you get one free, think it works out about 6 or 7 per gallon

Couldn't find the Wynn's additive, but picked up Halford's green bottle 10w40 semi synth on offer 15odd quid, that'll do.

Friends boss who has had various VWs and who works in the motor trade swears by Comma oil and always argues with me that its better than Quantum... I hadn't even heard about Comma oil until my friend started working their 4 months ago.

Just to echo this, I was in the dealership last week for the first time in months, and asked the parts guy if there was a typo on the silver 5L, 21!!!

Last time I was in there I got 2 5L bottles for 10 each (after general VW/GTI chat with the parts guy)

[:x] Let's not forget that the very existance of companies such as GSF and ECP were borne out of the fact that VW, etc were ripping us of sooo much with OEM parts such as Bosch.

A whole industry sector was created because they were shafting us so much.... I have no sympathy for them, only[:x]
