    see people dont get mike

the 'yes yes oh yay' is just funny, thats his humour

take the first album the one where he compares a drunk to a stonner....that genius no question about it!

the tunes about pills make me go cold and a shiver up my spine they're so close to the truth.

The Streets are brilliant, Origional Pirate Material is one guy and a laptop in his bedroom and its just like the story of (for me) growing up and having a good time.

The new album, I can see why people sl*g it as the music hasnt moved on but the hype has. Listen to the words, he does have a point.

I dont think that this guy is a chav, but worse hes a Blue nose! :p

Want a laff, half man half machine by goldie lookin chain.

The streets is an embarasment. It's not that it's bad, It's that it is so bad it has become the polar opposite of good and turned into something else.
    'Super crap' maybe?

i cant argue with music if what someone is talking about is near a replica of my life at that time.

music isnt all about a great voice and a pretty face. its about some good beats and someone talking about real stuff.

too many people have jumped on the streets band wagon over the last year and have been disapointed with the new album.....the more people that hate it the better.

coz if everyone likes them, capital radio will rinse the 5hit out of it and ill end up hate them :)

the best album i bought this year,
mike skinner is a genius, the story from start to finish is excellent, the track about in the club, pills etc. and dry your eyes are gonna live with me for a long time.

i think that's how you know an artist has come up with something totally original and good (imo) when there are those that absolutely love it and those that absolutely hate it. there's no one here that has said it's ok...

that to me says it gets to people, unlike something like the lighthouse family for instance [:s]

Got it, stuck it on and lisented from start to finish - brilliant!

Think it has to be lisented to right through at least once to totally enjoy it :)

LMAO, how about my attempt. It's from the heart and a true life experience so don't take the urine

    >Need some new socks as one has a hole in.
    >toe poken through, sad like the ocean
    >went down m-sparks bought some new socks
    >a hole in my life not just my sock,
    >cry, sock with hole,
    >life poo,
    >dry your eyes mate and don't mug yourself,
    >buy new sock to fill the hole.

What ya reckon, streets through and through?

LMAO yeah probably mate. I hate the streets album and I hear enough chav's as it is without having to hear a concentrated version of it on a CD.
