What I can't understand about him is why his voice, and particularly how he talks, has changed. Keeping it real, presumably. I respect anyone who played Hip-Hop/electro in the early days, as I like that music, and have done for many years. I agree with the comments about the gun culture, and I stopped buying Rap around 1991, when Gangsta Rap really took over. It's only recently I've started again - and it's not all like that now you know.

I like a lot of Xzibit's music - I think he's quite underrated over here. DMX is probably my favourite MC though. Not much of the chrome 57" rims in his rhymes.
Personally I wouldn't rank those rappers as the best of all time. Not many of today's MC's can compare to Melle Mel don't you think?

i cant understand why westwood is on radio 1, because... 1- he's as annoying as hell 2- he seems to only plays the poo tunes that he has on his latest album 3- that bomb noise is nearly as annoying as him! surely there has got to be better dj's in the uk!
