To noise deaden a mk2 from exhaust drone

    It won't fit right if you don't cut the valance. Suprised if it isn't knocking the rear beam too. You can buy a modified rear hanger from Jetex which will counteract the extra weight of a stainless exhaust on the rubber hangers. Or you can make your own with a bit of metal bar from a scrap metal merchant. I did the latter.

    Chopped mine out so it cleared the twin pipes, carefully and you can leave a little lip in the oem style.

    The shape is already there pressed in, just carefully cut up and across, leaving a tiny bit then can file or grind it to finish, then primer and paint.
    I'll grab a square on photo later, but here's one for now.

    unless its a really early shell, the dual tip pressing isnt there. if so be a shame to chop it out as part of the originality
