Need to fit a new head gasket - the one listed on VW Heritage for a JB 1.5 engine doesn't look right at all - link. https://www.heritagepartscentre.com/uk/049103383k-head-gasket-1500cc-1983-petrol.html The one off my engine looks closer to a head gasket for a diesel which doesn't make much sense - a lot of the water jacket holes are blocked as a result. See attached photos. Can anyone help me work out which head gasket is right? All head gaskets I find either block holes exposed in the previous jacket while exposing more holes elsewhere. I can't seem to find the correct head gasket at all and it's driving me mad.
