Can any of you recommend companies to carry out a TT 225 Conversion in my rallye.

I am based in the midlands but will travel if required.

I will need them to sort all parts as i am a novice and wouldnt know what i was buying.

have built many of these before, Matt uses the original VW/Audi management which is way superior to DTa or Emerald, give him a ring you won't be dissapointed, also if you want the 02m 6 spd TT box and rear diff in there he can do that no probs

Yes, I have spoken to Matt already and reckons that 4000 all in with engine supplied and fitted.

Then i need to go for a remap to get aorund 300 BHP.

Just Stealth to call now and all will be sorted. Then i need to arrange and book it in with them.

Would prefer stealth as they are nearer but am willing to travel to Basingstoke.

stealth use DTA, which isn't quite as good as the original management, Vince gets some good results from it, but for the same engine spec you will get a better result from the OEM management

Yeah i new chris had loads more. Wouldnt mind that later but as for now i just want that lump in and working, would be happy with 250 bhp to be honest.

I just hope its going to feel much better than the current lump.

Also hope someone will buy it off me.

How much do you reckon id get for it?

    Someone mention my name?! [:D]

you can get 300 from the original management...well providing it's mapped well! and also overall power depends how much boost you are running!

you could probly get the same from emerald or any other management system but then it's not all down to how much it's got but how smoothly it's delivered as well! 300bhp is useless if it's a bag of cack until u hit 6000rpm!

also 20vt engines are great for mid range torque! i virtually never need to take my car much above 6000rpm!
on track i try to keep my car between 4500-6000rpm right in peak torque! (my engine is a VVT one). just keeps pulling like a train!

I want my car to be smooth to drive. I dont want to have to thrash it all the time to get decent performace. The G60 i have now is perfect cus power is there instantly.

    But def want the TT.

Jst waiting to see hwo long i got to wait for him to do it. and how long it will take to fit.

Anythign you recommend i do at the same time?

Will get an induction kit and then go get as much as i can chromed.

veedubnutz, the oem management has a load of sensors on 2 knock sensors so you can run it closer to the limit, i.e big power without melting everything, DTA and emerald don't really have this facility.

expect about 400 to map it at Jabba

    Well Tonsk.

I dont rob banks, although had thought about it.

I looked at buying a Lupo GTi a couple of weeks ago and decided that the 10000 id pay for one of them id be able to get my rallye to be how i want it. So really its not that much money.

All these kids round me have saxos which are on finance and i think well for the same money they paid for that i can have a rallye with 280 BHP + and it costs me the same.

Im only 21 so plenty of time to save for my house in a couple of years.
