Tyre of certain death

    IMG_20180518_090138.jpg IMG_20180518_090138.jpg IMG_20180518_090128.jpg First of all yes I'm bloody embarrassed I missed this but caught it just in time only spotted it as was adjusting the pas belt... may have a very slight tyre misalignment issue.

    It's 2 years old.have to change a cv boot then get the wheels sitting true.

    Ouch. That notch looks ripe to tear into a flap. They look like they've been seriously overheating for some time.

    Didn't show any sign of anything was wrong handling was very good no vibration doesn't pull to one side to look at from the front looks like a perfectly good tyre.did start to lose a few psi this week i think it was on the verge of letting go and to think I gave it the beans down 10 miles of twisting road on its last journey. [eek].so anyone who reads this when was the last time you checked your tyres.... properly.

    Seen this a few times
    Also had bad cracking on winter tyres at the last MOT was only on the inside weren't that old either was quite shocked when I saw them

    That kind of a weekend, me and the boy went (at some speed) to Nuneaton BMX racemeeting on Sunday, on the way back a small rattle then suddenly a clonk - the nut securing the strut to the top mount had disappeared and the strut had dropped through the hole.
    Or as I call it Variable Angle Geometry In Nick's Automobile.
    Either way you and I survived :)
