Where I live they`re are a couple of R8s I see regularly, but spotted one today that made me do a proper double take. Was driving past the opposite way, so didn`t get a picture, so the mission is on to find it parked up and have a good nosey... It had a full matt black vinyl wrap with the grille trimmed in a red stripe (ala GTI), and dark wheels. Takes some balls to `modify` an R8, so big respect to the owner...looked tough as hell...me wants... A bit like this, but with the chrome grill in red, and the I`m pretty sure the `airblade` was matt too. A quick Google shows it`s been seen in and around Manchester a few times recently...the hunt is on...

PMSL - I saw that blue and white version broken down at the side of the A34 between alderley and manchester near John Lewis at Cheadle - looked proper crap I thought.....
almost as bad at that black one i saw at the ring, with bright green mirrors, wheels and brakes...and other random items on the car. looked awful.

I've seen the very same car parked outside an alloy wheel refurb place on the city works Business park in openshaw about a month ago, I thought the very same about it taking balls, but it looks awesome.
He's not, my mate was boning his fit ex bird for a bit. I suppose he could have turned though, certainly looks like it after seing his cars. The bent ****.
