Hi I bought a 1986 golf vr6 unfinished project, came with pretty much everything I need, The problem is I have to spark at the plugs, I have a new coil, spark is going to the distributor, got a couple of rotor arms but none of them are sending a spark to the plugs, I took the cap off and put a bit of wire between the centre and one of the point that I had a lead and plug connected to and that made the plug spark, so anyone any ideas what could be wrong? I hope that all makes sense.
