This was my very first mk2 gti, I swapped my XR2 for it and a bunch of cash. Type19 8v on 85 C plate. Rumor was a roll at +100mph. It was green, (Lhasa?) with 15”Zender turbo’s. Green striped seats. I’ve never seen another in the colour combo. I reshelled it into a really nice Atlas gray shell, with the early seat colours, which just got chucked into the skip at work Eventually fitted big bumpers, 16v Ariel in the roof to replace a phone one and 15”MIM wheels
